Our digital therapeutics program for depression and anxiety is being developed based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy was developed more than 40 years ago and is a clinically proven psychological intervention that trains skills that directly address problems with depression and anxiety. CBT was originally developed by Aaron Beck, M.D.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction has been researched since the 1980’s and has been proven to be effective in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. MBSR was originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.

Our goal is to create an integration of these two psychosocial interventions in the context of a digital program that meets the needs of countless people who are currently suffering from depression and anxiety disorders. Although it can be used as an adjunct to traditional CBT and/or medication, our solution can be especially helpful for those who are unable to access quality mental health resources.

Members of our team have published over 400 papers and have over 65 combined years of clinical, research and academic experience.
