Meru is Highly Regarded by Our Patients

"Meru Health program turned out to be a very valuable tool for me. It supported me in challenging life situations as well as in everyday life. During the program, I learned to switch off from autopilot and let go of negative thinking traps that have contributed to my depression and anxiety. Additionally, I established a kinder and more compassionate attitude towards myself and others, and I’ve learned to make better decisions based on my values. These things were particularly important for me. The Meru Health program offers a flexible way to do practices on my own but also to contact my therapist whenever more support and help is needed.”  - Linda, 29 yo

"Thanks to the Meru Health program I learned new perspectives to deal with my depression. I started to be more aware of my own thoughts and to understand them. Also, I learned to pay more attention to my body and its sensations and understood how my body sensations and feelings are connected to my mind. I recommend the program for people who are living with depression and interested in a new, innovative treatment solution." - Oona, 22 yo

Our digital program for depression combines three psychological therapies: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based intervention and Behavioral Activation.

We have created an 8-week digital program combining elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based interventions and behavioral activation, delivered through a smartphone. Cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based interventions and behavioral activation are evidence-based therapies that have been widely studied.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:

in-person:

A META-analysis of CBT for adult depression, Cuijpers et al. (2012).

online:

A review and META-analysis of guided internet-based vs face-to-face CBT, Andersson et al. (2014).

Mindfulness-Based Interventions:

in-person:

An overview of systematic reviews and META-analyses of RCTs. Gotlink et al. (2015).

online:

A review and META-analysis of online mindfulness-based interventions. Spijkerman et al. (2016).

Behavioral Activation:

in-person:

An Update of Meta-Analysis of Effectiveness and Sub Group Analysis. Ekers et al. (2014)
