How does it work?
Meru Health's medical clinic offers an 8-week mobile program for treating the symptoms of depression with a personal licensed therapist through participant's smartphone.
Daily support from a licensed therapist
Right from the first call till the final week, a licensed Meru Health therapist will be actively supporting participants to recover and become empowered. Our therapists have at least 3 years of clinical experience in treating depression.
PROGRAM THAT ADAPTS TO INDIVIDUAL NEEDS
The program is structured around 8 weekly themes, that build on each other. It consists of mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral and behavioral activation therapies.
During this program, participants can connect with and learn from peers. Seeing that other people have similar problems and being able to learn together is tremendously beneficial.

Cognitive Behavioural Threapy or CBT is based on the understanding, that thoughts, emotions and behaviour are all interconnected. If you change one of these, it affects the others. CBT will help you change your thought patterns and behaviour into a direction that will improve well being and life management.
Behavioural Activation is based on mind and body activating practices.
Mindfulness will help you to live more in the present and accept the current circumstances as they are. By taking a moment and pausing into emnbodied Mindfulness-practices you will learn to observe your thoughts and emotions more clearly as well as listening to the signals of your body. You will get to know yourself better.
In Mindfulness we turn towards life, and we learn to look at life and the full spectrum of life. As life, will never be just easy and pleasant. We all face difficulties and setbacks in our own journey. What we try to learn in mindfullness, is ways to face our own weaknesses, painful spots and life's setbacks in a kinder and more consturctive manner. Without having to turn your back, be afraid or be shameful of setbacks. The program will provide you the tools that you need for these skills.
The aim of these therapies is to learn to break free from old harmful thought processes and modes of operating, that might be the cause or further depression or anxiety. Thus aiming towards a fuller life with better psychic wellbeing, freedom of choise and liberty of mind.
