"My experience with the Meru Health program was excellent. I enjoyed the idea of having a different theme each week, with videos and guided practices to support each theme. The therapist who did the videos and guided mindfulness practices was perfect---pleasant voice to listen to, with perfect attitude and tone. I appreciated the availability of the therapist, and also enjoyed the interactions with other people participating in the course at the same time. I highly recommend the Meru Health program to everyone--whether dealing with depression."

“Meru Health program turned out to be a very valuable tool for me. It supported me in challenging life situations as well as in everyday life.

During the program, I learned to switch off from autopilot and let go of negative thinking traps that have contributed to my depression and anxiety. Additionally, I established a kinder and more compassionate attitude towards myself and others, and I’ve learned to make better decisions based on my values.

These things were particularly important for me. The Meru Health program offers a flexible way to do practices on my own but also to contact my therapist whenever more support and help is needed.”

“The Meru Health - program found me at the right time. I was making painful decisions about ending my marriage. I decided to apply to the program as it did not require physical meetings and the program included writing.

The greatest gift of the program was the safe environment to deal with my emotions and receiving assurance over my difficult choices.

After the program I’ve still continued doing the practices. It’s wonderful to be able to say that I’m doing really well.”

Read more about the treatment

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is based on the understanding, that thoughts, emotions and behaviour are all interconnected. If you change one of these, it affects the others. CBT will help you change your thought patterns and behaviour into a direction that will improve well being and life management.

Behavioural Activation is based on mind and body activating practices.

Mindfulness will help you to live more in the present and accept the current circumstances as they are. By taking a moment and pausing into embodied Mindfulness-practices you will learn to observe your thoughts and emotions more clearly as well as listening to the signals of your body. You will get to know yourself better.

The aim of these therapies is to learn to break free from old harmful thought processes and modes of operating, that might be the cause or further depression or anxiety. Thus aiming towards a fuller life with better mental wellbeing, freedom of choice and liberty of mind.
